Program Overview

New Door Ventures helps at-risk youth get ready for work and life. We provide assistance to young people ages 14-21 who need support in making the increasingly difficult transition from youth to adulthood. We offer three categories of programming:

On the Job. We offer jobs, job training and support in businesses we own and operate and internships in community businesses and organizations. (more)

Job Readiness. We offer skill-building training in classroom and workshop settings with topics ranging from interviewing and resume writing to personal finance and nutrition. (more)

Supportive Community. We offer community-building activities that provide our youth with a chance to lead, a chance to succeed, a chance to try something new, or that are just fun. (more)

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT APPROACH

We value youth as assets to the community and to our organization. We provide positive adult role models and offer youth a safe, supportive environment to learn and grow. We help youth develop skills to become self-sufficient, contributing adult members of society. (more)
