Supportive Communities

GETTING READY FOR WORK AND LIFE

A challenging transition to adulthood is made all the more challenging without a community of peers and adults to provide support in the process.

We provide numerous opportunities for at-risk youth in our programs to develop friendships and engage with supportive adults and have fun safely.

During the school year, we offer monthly youth events that range from holiday parties to open mic(rophone) nights to cultural events.

During the summer, we organize numerous opportunities for recreation, fun, and building friendships which have included trips to Giants games and amusement parks, college tours and mural painting.

Volunteer Engagement

Volunteers support our work and provide an avenue for more safe, supportive adult relationships. Volunteers currently provide tutoring, workshops, mentoring and event supervision.
